My Life

If I could sum up my life in two people on RHOBH, it is Brandi Glanville and Taylor. Hello, both drink a little too much and I like to have a little too much fun. But there's big decisions to be made sooooo... time to get serious. Drink some wine.

Rainy Day Lounging

Hi,

I feel like I live in Seattle today. Non-stop rain but not pouring just gloomy weather outside my window. So instead of studying for the test, papers, and quizzes I have, I lay in my bed with a bowl of popcorn and drank liberal amounts of vanilla coffee. Yep, but that's not the embarrassing part. The embarrassing part is the amount of TV I watched--you name it, Criminal Minds, Gilmore Girls, What I Like About You, etc. Now, I wait anxiously for Real Housewives of B-Hillz to start.

Good News, I edited my Keira Knightley video. It has been a process so please please please give me feedback. iMovie is confusing. It's here:

Pretty Anthropologie Teacup with Vanilla Coffee. Refill!

Pretty design on my comforter that I got to admire while being lazy.

Sad face for procrastination. Please pray for my brain this week.

Future Wedding Quirks

As every single, 20-something I have an overall grasp on what I want my wedding to be like. Except there is no groom or even one on the horizon. Just call me Bridget Jones.

But.....

I want to share little fun details that I think would make my or any wedding so much more detailed and unique.

Unique floral prints inside envelopes. Precious.

I think this is the most adorable thing ever. Maybe I'm the only one. Coffee lovers unite.

I love ad-libs so a newlywed ad-lib is genius.

For the place setting, have a silhouette figure. How personal & vintage-chic.

Must I explain the need for a gold foil napkin with the signature cocktail?

This isn't quirky but it is darling. Your new monogram on your vail.

Meanwhile...

....outside my window this morning when I woke up.

Fall leaves and enjoying the new thanksgiving blend coffee with lemon pound cake....yum!

Emotional Eating

So today/my life has been paused when I watched my alma mater lose to A&M. For the football handicapped, that is the Alabama Crimson Tide I am talking about.

However, we cannot let that manifest. I am in the final stages of editing the video I talked about it. I am new to this. Didn't know how much effort it put into video taping your makeup session (ha!)--lighting and all!

The first thing I turn to is food. Tonight is chocolate covered raisins but it would have been an eggless, light Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough I make religiously if I would have had chocolate chips (it just tastes plain weird without the chocolate chips).  It can also be made gluten free easily!

It is from the Cookie Dough Lover's Cookbook. (to die for) I also have made the cookie dough ice pops in the book. That book is perfection. Go buy it! Or google...

Here it goes:

ingredients:

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
1/4 cup granulated sugar/splenda
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons milk or cream (unsweetened almond milk tastes just as good!)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (almond flour for you GF fans)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

directions:

In a large bowl beat butter and sugars with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes. Mix in milk and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt and mix on low speed (or by hand) until incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips.
Dough can be enjoyed immediately or stored, covered or in an airtight container, in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

I eat this straight from a bowl with a spoon and it is gone within one episode of pretty little liars, maybe two... Shame but you know how life is...you have wins and you have losses.

Beauty Video

TOMORROW! I am thinking Keira Knightley with a red lip (t-swift??)

Chic Winter White

I absolutely die over the fact that finally the fashionable people of the world have realized you can wear white in winter. I am not saying go wear a white eyelet summer dress but a nice white fur sounds DIVINE. Doesn't it? Or maybe a thick white leather pant.

Anyways, I am the rule breaking type and this rule is out! Joy oh joy! If anyone asks me what my favorite color is I will always and forever say white. It looks good on everyone. It even looks crisp and clean not only on yourself but even in a kitchen or bathroom. I mean imagine an all white marble room To die, so to appreciate the lack of pigment I am going to post my favorite winter white pieces and even some for the spring season too!

Kate, Marilyn and Diana all rocking the white fur. Chic!

J. Mendel's superchic, white trousers with fur. Poppy Delevigne also in a white trouser jumpsuit.
Below, I think is a more adorable feminine look by Lyn Devon. Love the texture of the sweater with the structured midi skirt.
